For gastrointestinal problems such inflammation, colitis, congestion, and indigestion, colon cleansing, sometimes referred to as colonic hydrotherapy and colonic irrigation, is recommended. Along with wholly irrelevant issues, it is also recommended for osteoarthritis, alcoholism, allergies, fatigue, asthma, and skin diseases.

Your body’s health status and fitness can be enhanced by colon cleansing in Accra, which may also lower your risk of developing colon cancer. The advantages of colon cleansing are listed below.

1. Increases the Efficiency of the Digestive System

Waste is pushed down your body when the colon is cleared, making it easier for nutrients to be absorbed. Waste can travel more easily through a colon that has been thoroughly cleaned.

2. Promotes Order and Avoids Constitutionalism

Constipation slows down the digestion process, which keeps waste in the body longer, especially when it is chronic. Hemorrhoids and varicose veins are two problems and irritations that are more likely as a result.

3. Colon Cleansing Boost Energy.

Since it redirects the energy typically used to push trash throughout your bowels to other areas of your body, eliminating impurities from your digestive system is revitalizing. Individuals who have got colonic cleansing done claim to have more energy, improved blood flow, and comfortable sleep.

4. Boosts the Body’s Absorption Of Vital Nutrients

A cleansed colon clears a way for vital nutrients to enter your body by only allowing water, vitamins, and nutrients to be absorbed into the bloodstream.

5. Helps With Concentration

You may lose focus and become distracted as a result of a poor diet and insufficient vitamin absorption. Even if you routinely consume a nutritious diet, an accumulation of phlegm and pollutants in your colon might prevent your body from absorbing the nutrients it requires to function. The distinction between feeling awake and the inability to concentrate can be made by cleaning the intestines with a detox diet. The effects on your job, friendships, and general health are extensive.

6. Aid in Weight Loss

Low-fiber foods pass through the digestive system at a rate of one-fourth that of high-fiber foods. The above slow-moving meal generates surplus phlegm that basically adheres to the gut wall, assessing the digestive system down with ounces of putrefying fecal material. Colon purging has the possibility to aid in losing weight; a few people assert to have already lost up to 20 pounds over the period of a month. Before digestion begins, the average human colon can hold at least eight plates’ worth of food, weighing around four pounds empty. A colon cleanse can help you lose a lot of weight, jump-start your system, and focus on making healthier eating choices and overall wellness.

7. Reduces the Risk of Colon Cancer.

Your digestive tract, kidneys, and liver are responsible for processing all of the poisons that you consume through food, drink, breathing, and skin absorption. They can cause mayhem on your organ functions if they are not expelled from your systems as soon as feasible. You lower the danger of developing polyps, cysts, and malignant overgrowth in your gut and digestive system by eliminating sluggish body waste.

Conclusion:

If you are near Accra, visit Holy Trinity Spa and Health Farm for dental spa in Accra or any relaxing massage done to unwind.

Detoxes and spas are a get option to relax your mind as well as your body at the same time after a stressful week.

Speaking in a welcome address at the mammoth Thanksgiving Party attended by staff of the Holy Trinity Medical Centre, comprising the hospital in Accra and the Spa and Health Farm in Sogakope, on Sunday, 7 August, 2022, Dr. Mrs. Dzormeku, the Director of Medical Services of the Holy Trinity Medical Centre, thanked the Almighty God, the Visionary leader of the facility, Dr. Felix Anyah, the Board, Management and Staff of the Medical Centre for remaining committed to the Vision, Mission, Goals and Strategies in Pioneering Wellness through Integrative Health/ Medicine for Health and Medical Tourism.

She noted that the Holy Trinity Spa and Health Farm is the Integrative Health/Medicine Department of the Holy Trinity Medical Centre.

She explained that, Integrative Health/Medicine harmonizes scientific or orthodox Medical Practices with Health Practices that Science has not proven, such as herbs, Prayer, acupuncture, water, sound, climate, motion therapies, called Alternative Health/Medicine, together with Health Practices that assist Orthodox Scientific Health including physical exercises, healthy diet, sleep.

These are called Complementary Health/Medical Services.

The Director of Medical Services continued that Integrative Health/Medicine has Health Promotion and Disease Prevention as one of it’s Pivot and thus enhances productivity and reduce expenditure on Orthodox Medical Services.

Dr. Mrs. Dzormeku confirmed that, as the First Spa in West Africa, the Spa has been misrepresented as a hotel and emphasized that the Holy Trinity Spa and Health Farm is a Health Facility and a Department of the Holy Trinity Medical Centre, and not a hotel.

Spas she continued, have different categories and Holy Trinity Spa and Health Farm, founded by a Doctor, has doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians, radiographers, dentists, dietitians, clinical psychologists, with all Orthodox Medicine Hospital structures as well as pastors, Herbal Medicine Practitioners, exercise physiologists and so on, and consequently classified as a Destination Spa, Hospital and Rehabilitation Spa, Medical Spa, Wellness Centre Spa, Health Farm, and occasionally provides Day Spa Services.

The concept of Spa in the provision of Healthcare she explained, are rooted in the:
Firstly, World Health Organization’s Definition of Health as “Health is the complete state of Physical, Psychological, Social, Emotional and Spiritual well-being of an individual, and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity “

Secondly, The World Health Organization Primary Healthcare Strategy of Introducing Traditional Medicine into Healthcare Delivery Launched in 1979.

Thirdly, The Traditional Medicine Practice Act (Act 575 of AD 2000) of Ghana.

Fourthly, The Regenerative Health and Nutrition Plan of the Ghana Ministry of Health focusing primarily on Health Promotion through Healthy Lifestyle.

One of the Products of the Centre, which was recognized in Mauritius, was Wellness Healthy Lifestyle Conference.

Dr. Mrs. Dzormeku, reiterated that lifestyle non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, stress disorders, diabetes, sleep disorders, high blood cholesterol, depression, suicide, anxiety, back and neck pains, migraine, enlarged prostate, overweight, peptic Ulcer, ischemic heart diseases, blood clots and cancers are severely affecting the productive sector of the economy especially those in the middle and upper class, globally more than Infections.

Most of these lifestyle problems cause death but may show little or no symptoms.

Hypertension for example, has earned the name “Silent Killer”

So is the tragic increase in blood clots especially in the legs causing strokes, heart attacks or sudden death especially on aircrafts, otherwise called Economy Class Syndrome.

The Holy Trinity Spa and Health Farm at Sogakope and Holy Trinity Medical Centre in Accra are based on integrative Medicine, Disease Prevention and health promotion. “We are looking at what is called integrative healthcare delivery like the one in Sogakope which has broad spectra”, Dr. Anyah continued, “in addition, it is important in healthcare delivery for us to look at disease prevention and health and wellness promotion as well as cure. A combination of these will help reduce the country’s health budget”.

Dr. Felix Anyah recommends Medical School curriculum must include management. “Training of doctors should include leadership management so that we don’t concentrate on only technically skilled people who come out without inter-personal skills, don’t understand accounting and other related subjects in the spectra of health practice”.

Some awards received by Dr. Felix Anyah include, Ghana’s Greatest Entrepreneur of All Time award, Most Respected CEO in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Best Health Care CEO from 6 different organizations in 2017, 2018 and 2019 and Overall Best CEO 2017 in both the public and private sectors.

He said, under the 1996 Ghana Health Service and Teaching Hospital Act 525, the membership of the Teaching Hospital Boards then consisted of about 80% of hospital Management staff.

“For efficient Corporate Governance, the Board now consist of 10 professionals not of the Hospital Management with only the Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital as a member forming a total composition of 11.
